Audit Manager – Robertson
Job Description
Our client in Robertson has an opportunity for Senior Audit Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BA degree or equivalent qualification
- Completed SAICA articles
- Experience with CaseWare Working Papers
- Ability to work independently
- Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
Key Areas;
Audit Management & Execution
- responsible for the planning, management, and review of audit files, as well as client visits and certain accounting-related work
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the full audit process for multiple clients
- Oversee risk assessments, audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and IFRS
- Review and approve audit findings, working papers, and financial statements
- Ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring effective communication and service delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to identify value-adding opportunities
- Advise clients on financial reporting, risk management, and internal controls
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and coach audit teams to achieve high performance and professional growth
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to audit staff
- Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented work culture
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal audit methodology, firm policies, and professional standards
- Participate in internal quality assurance reviews and implement recommendations
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
Strategic & Business Development
- Contribute to the growth of the audit division through client retention and new business acquisition
- Participate in proposals, presentations, and strategic firm initiatives
- Support partners in managing profitability and resource planning
